Dedicated to the memory of George Allan

This site is a tribute to George Allan. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

George Allan, a beloved husband, father, and hardworking individual, passed away peacefully in Troon, where he spent his retirement surrounded by memories of his late wife, Annabel and supported by the friendship of his great friends Born in Dalmellington, George's journey led him to Ayr, where he built a life filled with love and dedication to his family.

George's early days as a miner shaped his strong work ethic and resilience. His adventurous spirit then took him to the merchant navy, where he explored the seas and embraced new experiences. However, it was after meeting and marrying Annabel that George found his true calling at SAL, which later became British Aerospace. For 25 years, he dedicated himself to his work, leaving a lasting impact on the company and his colleagues.

As a father to John and Anthony Allan, George was a pillar of strength and wisdom, guiding his sons with love and support. His legacy of hard work, determination, and kindness will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though George's physical presence may be gone, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. His memory will be cherished, and his legacy will endure through the lives he touched. George Allan will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the love and warmth he shared with those around him.
